It’s been more than a decade since North Dakota motorists have seen gas prices this low.

The statewide average is $2.26 a gallon, which is a penny lower than one year ago, according to Triple-A.
The last time North Dakota motorists paid a lower price at the pump during the month of June was 2005.
The annual high average is often hit during the month of June.
Over the past 12 years, the average price for a gallon of gas during the month of June in North Dakota is $3.11.
Even better news, prices are expected to continue to move lower as oil and gasoline supplies outpace demand.
