Go Demons: Homecoming at Bismarck High

News

I spent the afternoon with some students here at BHS who told me homecoming week has been the best yet, and that they’re even more excited for today.
Here’s what these guys said is the best part of the week.

“It’s four years of different ages, and everybody here has school spirit. So, there’s always somebody going all out with you,” said Brooklyn Heaton and Kirah Harper, Freshmen, BHS.

“It’s extra special, just because it’s the last one, obviously, but it’s really exciting. Just can’t wait to play the game on Friday. That’s my main focus,” said Kenny Winbauer, Senior, Football Player.

“It’s kind of bittersweet because it’s our last homecoming, but it’s really fun because everyone’s actually dressing up this year, which hasn’t happened in the past,” said MaKenna Kuhn and Hope Burdolski, Seniors, BHS.

“As a senior, you just want to take in as much as you can. Probably the best thing about it, for me at least, is coaching the girls powderpuff team,” said AJ Jerome, Senior, Football Player.

This morning, the school is holding a pep rally to get everyone fired up for the big football game tonight.

BPS will play Fargo South tonight.
