A local church will soon be nearly doubling their floor space. The founders of the Bread of Life Lutheran church began holding services at Edison Elementary. In April of 1991, construction finished on the current building and they began holding services.
Today, the church held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate how far they have come and look towards the future. They outgrew their current space and have had to make adjustments on their services for a few years. Despite the cramped situation, they had no plans on leaving their favorite spot.
“We have this big, beautiful lot. We love it here, we built a community playground after the flood and we don’t want to move,” says Cody Roteliuk, Building Co-Chair.
The expansion will add 5,200sqft onto the building.
