At approximately 3 p.m. this afternoon, a high speed chase took place in Mandan.

The Mandan Police Department shift commander said a white female with a warrant for arrest fled officers.

She then crashed her vehicle into a snow bank.

Witnesses say the incident occurred on the 1900 block of 9th Ave SE in Mandan, just blocks away from Ft. Lincoln Elementary School.

The shift commander told KX News there were 2 or 3 Mandan Police Vehicles involved in the pursuit.

After the woman crashed her car, she then fled on foot.

Shortly thereafter, the woman was arrested and taken into custody by Mandan PD.
