Highway Patrol looking for vehicle that hit woman on I-94

A 58-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross the eastbound lanes of Interstate 94. 

Maryette Ost of Jamestown was walking along Interstate 94 near mile marker 212, which is East of Steele, N.D. She was walking along the westbound roadway and was in the process of crossing to the eastbound when she was hit by a vehicle traveling West. 

The vehicle did not stop. 

Ost was transported to Sanford Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

This incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
