Hit-and-run accident sends young girl to the hospital

Bismarck Police are investigating after a girl was hit by a car while trying to board a school bus.
Police say the juvenile girl under age 15 was on Jericho Road in Bismarck this morning between 7:30 and 8 am.

The girl was crossing the street when she was hit by a small white car.
The school bus driver said the stop sign arm was working and in play when she was hit.
The parents took the girls to the hospital and she was treated and released with non-life threatening injuries.

The car is described as small and white.
The driver is described as a hispanic male between 20 and 30 years old around 200 pounds.
