United Tribes Technical College is having their 3rd annual Horror on Harmon event. The event not just serves a fun attraction but as a fundraiser for student scholarships.

The haunted house has been said by many to be the scariest attraction in Bismarck.

Horror on Harmon has only been at United Tribes for 3 years, but the event has been bringing scares to people for almost 20. Tom Braun is the creator of the event and says he started it in his front yard in 2001. It has grown every year since then.

He partnered up with the college to start the event as a way to raise money for student scholarships.
Last year they raised enough money to hand out 19 scholarships to students at UTTC.

President of UTTC, Russ McDonald, says he’s loved to see what the event has become, including just how scary it is.

“We have just been really pleased with the growth we have seen from the event. You know its pretty scary though. I’ll go in there during the day time, but I won’t go in there during the night time,” says McDonald.

They are hoping to raise at least $7,000 this year for student scholarships. And they’re hoping to scare at least 1,500 people this year.

Creator, Tom Braun, and builder of Horror on Harmon, Wayne Jundt, say they have taken the house to a whole other level this year.

“It’s scary… you will be scared,” says Jundt.

Horror on Harmon is tonight and tomorrow from 7-11 pm. Tickets are only $5 and all the money goes to help with student scholarships. They also encourage you to follow their safety percussions they have posted on Facebook.
