Hot temps cause pavement on State Street to buckle

Something else you may need to keep an eye out for on the roads: buckling pavement.

It happens when there’s a swing in temperatures. This stretch of road in Bismarck on State street shows you just what could happen. In between Spaulding and Divide avenues, there’s a large crack crossing the southbound lanes. They have the right lane currently blocked off. So, be careful when traveling in that area.
