People everywhere are hunting for deals this Black Friday, but one church has a different deal to offer. As soon as you walk into this tent — the unmistakable sharp, sweet scent of fir trees fills the air. Soon, these trees will be taken home to be filled with Christmas ornaments. All of the proceeds from the trees will go towards the nonprofits ‘People for Care and Learning’ and ‘Project Ignite Light’ to help children in need.
“Anything that we can do to help make a child feel loved and, hopefully, break the cycle of abuse -we’re all -we’re all in.” says Jolene Haffner, Project Ignite Light Volunteer.
You can pick a tree for yourself any day between today and December third across the street from the Arrowhead shopping center in Minot.
