The 2017 East-West Shrine Bowl will be played on Sunday, July 16 at Mayville State University.
There will be an 11-man and 9-man game.
On the West roster for the 11-man game, Legacy leads all schools with four players, which is one more than Century, the defending state champions.
The Patriots signal caller Jacob Rader was one the player selected and he’s happy to be at the game.
“You get to play against the people that you’ve competed against you entire high school career,” Rader said. “You get to know them a little better than when you were playing them. You probably didn’t like them then you know, it’s just a cool experience.”
In the 9-man contest, the game is expected to be very competitive.
Beulah’s Dawson Bishop is on the West roster and he reflected on his experience.
“It’s been a lot of fun,” Dawson said. “I’ve made a lot of friends. I love game and happy to be here and play with the best.”
The 11-man contest is at 4 p.m. and the 9-man is at 7 p.m.
