Bismarck High took over sole possession of fourth place in the WDA after a one-sided win against Legacy on May 8 at the BPS Athletic Complex.
The Demons offense scored five goals in the first 40 minutes of play. They led 5-1 at intermission.
Bismarck was in a three-way tie for fourth coming into the game with St. Mary’s and Minot.
Bismarck improves to 4-4-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the WDA. They have 10 points.
The Demons’ next game is May 11 at home against Mandan.
Legacy falls to 0-9-1 overall and 0-8-0 in the WDA. The next chance for the Sabers to win their first game is Saturday at home against Grand Forks Central.
