HS Soccer: St. Mary’s falls in semifinals

St. Mary’s fell in the semifinals of the Class A State Soccer tournament to Shanley-Oak Grove on June 2.

The Saints were down 2-0 at the half. In the final minutes, Britta Curl scored to cut the deficit in half. However, time ran out on St. Mary’s bid for a state title. Shanley-Oak Grove won the game 2-1.

St. Mary’s will play Fargo North in the third place game on June 3.

In the consolation bracket, Century lost to Jamestown 3-1.
