HS Softball: Bismarck 17-1 in their last 18 games

The Bismarck High softball team continued their winning ways against Mandan on May 16 at Fort Lincoln Field.

In the first game, the Demons needed nine innings to win 8-4.

In the second game, Madan got on the board first in the bottom of the first. Megan Zander scored on a pass ball to give the Braves an early 1-0 advantage. 

In the bottom half of the frame, Bismarck responded with a run of their own. Emily Omvig singled to center to plate Felicity Blair and tie game at 1.

The Demons would go on to score nine more runs and win 10-4.

The sweep means that Bismarck has won 17 out of their last 18 games. Bismarck’s record improves to 17-7 in the WDA and 21-7 overall.

Bismarck High takes the diamond again on Thursday in Minot.
