The Legacy tennis team finished a winless week with a loss to the defending Class A girls’ tennis champions West Fargo Sheyenne on May 5 at Sertoma.
On May 2, Legacy fell 9-0 against BPS rival Bismarck High. On May 4, they suffered a defeat to the top team in the WDA, Minot. On May 5, they dropped a match to the defending state champions.
Despite treacherous week schedule, Coach Scott McPherson says spirits are still high.
“I’ve been very pleased with their attitudes,” McPherson said. “They are staying positive and we just have to work through the growing pains and we’re getting better.”
Legacy is 3-5 overall and 2-3 in the West. The Sabers take the court again May 9 against Century.
