The Game and Fish Department is pulling the ‘idle only’ rule for the Missouri River in Bismarck-Mandan.

The emergency rule which was signed back in late June kept boats to idle only speed while on the river.
The Heart River south of Mandan was also under the rule.

High water levels affected the river most of the summer, and there were concerns over land erosion because of boat traffic.
