If you’re deer hunting in MN this weekend, read this advisory


If you’re planning a trip to Minnesota this weekend for the opening of deer hunting season there, you will want to take note of warnings posted by the North Dakota Game and Fish and the North Dakota Game Wardens Association on their Facebook sites.

Chronic Wasting Diseaase (CWD) in reported in Minnesota.

“Minnesota is a state where chronic wasting disease has been identified, so hunters may not bring a whole deer carcass back across the border into North Dakota,” reads the note on the Game and Fish site.

“Don’t be one of those people who takes a chance on introducing this disease to a new area,” notes the Game Wardens site.
