A week ago, the restaurant chain International House of Pancakes, or IHOP, began a social media marketing campaign touting its name change to “IHOb” and encouraged social media readers to guess what the “b” represented.
Today, the restaurant chain revealed the “b” stands for “burgers.”
In addition to its pancake line-up, IHOP will also be serving seven different hamburger meals.
The name change to “IHOb” is only temporary.
IHOP has actually been serving burgers with its iconic pancake menu since the restaurant’s founding in 1958.
However, restaurant officials say they’re pushing the burger menu to expand its lunch and dinner audience,
There are two IHOP restaurants in North Dakota — Fargo and Grand Forks.
