It’s the third day of investigation into the Mandan quadruple homicide.
Mandan Police assisted by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation have been investigating the case of four employees of R-J-R Maintenance and Management who were found dead early Monday morning.
Today law enforcement tells us they are conducting interviews with people of interest.
They are also talking to several employees of R-J-R.
We are also told several community businesses have been helpful in offering up surveillance video — but they are having difficulty accessing it.
Leading them to reach out to individual I-T people who have access to the footage.
To recap what we know, four people were found dead around 7:30 am Monday morning.
Police have released little detail in the case.
They have not released a timeline of when they believed the victims were killed.
Tuesday law enforcement released names of those killed.
52-year-old Robert Fakler was one of the owners of the company.
45-year-old Lois Cobb and 50-year-old William Cobb, a husband, and wife both worked for the business they were also identified as victims.
And 42-year-old Adam Fuehrer was also an RJR employee.
How the victims were killed has not been released.
Police continue to say they do not have a suspect or suspects in custody, but they believe the public is safe.
Mandan Police Chief Jason Ziegler has referred to the crime as targeted towards the victims, and not a random act.
The medical examiner will be the ones releasing the cause of death, but when that will happen has not been confirmed.
The crime scene has been closed by investigators, and they’re working through the evidence.
Chief Ziegler referred to the scene as “rare” during one of his press conferences on the murders.
