Facial recognition, augmented reality, and the most sophisticated technology Apple has developed…
Those are just a few of the reasons the iPhone X has many in anticipation, and happening now…Emily Medalen is live to tell us more about what we can expect, and if it’s worth the dent it may put in your bank account.
The iPhone X will be available for pre-order in a little over a month, and already has people around the world on the edge of their seats.
This is Apple’s 10th anniversary iPhone – and costs more than any iPhone ever has.
Here’s what you can expect when this smart device finally hits shelves.
“Everyone’s entire life is on their phone,” says Willow Weekley.
It’s no secret that this is the case for many of us –
So, it makes sense that Apple lovers everywhere are now anxiously awaiting the arrival of the iPhone X.
“People who love iPhone, who love Apple, are going to love having the Apple X, there’s no doubt about it,” says Marlo Anderson, Guru of Geek.
One of the most anticipated new features is facial recognition.
“You’ll actually be able to hold your phone in front of you, and that’ll recognize you, and you’ll be able to access your phone,” says Anderson.
And no more standard emojis — the news ones are coming to life..
“You will actually be able to create your own emojis – if you’re bobbing your head around, or smiling or whatever, you’ll be able to create these emojis and send them along as well,” says Anderson.
The only thing that seems to have apple users hung up — is the price.
The smart device is an expensive one — starting at $999.
“Tell me if you think it’s worth spending a thousand dollars on this new iPhone.”
“I wouldn’t pay a thousand bucks – my phone works just fine,” says Cole Hoffman.
“I don’t think I want to get the thousand dollar one. Maybe when it’s cheaper,” says Willow Weekley).
Others think it’s going to be well worth it.
“I think it is, just because of all the new stuff that’s being added,” says Crystina Adon.
“There are ways that you can mitigate the cost of having these devices, by the fact that you’re saving time and money by using them. If you take a thousand dollars over a couple years… I’d be willing to bet that you’re going to save a thousand dollars over the couple years because you’re using it,” says Anderson.
“I plan on saving up, yeah,” says Crystina Adon.
You’ll be able to order November 3rd,
but already, the Apple X is being called the “future of the smartphone.”
“It might be something that you hang on to, and just show your kids and grandkids in the future – that ‘I had the Apple X,” says Anderson.
