A Bismarck karate instructor has been accused of filming his students in a changing room, as well as touching one of the students.

23-year-old Adler Scheer is charged with Gross Sexual Imposition and three counts of Surreptitious Intrusion.

A court document says Bismarck Police were called to ATA Martial Arts earlier this week for a report of a child finding a phone in a changing room.

The 13-year-old gave the phone to Scheer after she discovered that it had been recording for 16 minutes on top of a dividing wall.

Documents say upon questioning by police, Scheer admitted to recording his students on three different occasions.
He also told police he touched a student over their clothes.
According to court documents, Scheer said he was attempting to “satisfy his sexual curiosity and desire.”

GSI is punishable by up to 20-years in jail, each count of Surreptitious Intrusion is punishable up to 5-years in jail.
