Have you ever heard of a poison dart frog?
Some young kids learned about the creature during a special event at Minot’s Taube Museum of Art today.
Roosevelt Park Zoo staff taught the kids some interesting facts about the frogs.
For example, the frogs eat crickets, have four toes, and are blue instead of green.
After learning about frogs, the kids created their own piece of frog art.
“This is kind of fun to blend art and animals, two things that he really loves to do and make it fun for him,” said parent Katie Peterson. “And, also get him ready for kindergarten, socializing and listening to directions and learning and getting him ready for next year.”
