U.S. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta plans to visit North Dakota next Thursday, March 21, to discuss workforce shortages, health plans and tribal colleges.

Acosta comes at the invitation of North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer.

“These events afford us the opportunity to hear directly from the people of North Dakota about problems and solutions regarding the workforce shortage, association health plans, and tribal colleges,” Cramer said in a prepared statement.

Acosta will visit locations in Fargo in the morning and then spend time at the United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck in the afternoon.
