“We enjoy the water. So we like to spend time on the boat and -and just swiftly get away from work and come on the weekend and relax a little bit.” said Sara Dufner, Rice Lake Cabin Owner.
School has begun and trips to the lake cabin will become less and less frequent.
“With winter coming along, you need to clean and kind of get everything organized, because you don’t know how much you’ll be out here over the winter.” said Dufner.
The Dufners have decided to go the extra mile this year.
“My parents move back here -they’re from Minneapolis- they’ll be back here soon. And this is a surprise that we’re doing for them.” said Dufner.
“We’re actually taking everything out of the garage and then building a loft. And then we’re going to put everything that we don’t really use up in the loft to make more room for the cars and the jet skis and everything, all the summer toys that we have to put them back in the garage.” said Dufner.
Although it is hard work, Dufner says that it’s all worth it.
“It’s a good Labor Day weekend. It’s beautiful here, so it’s a great day to do it and be outside.” said Dufner.
