Larks ready for first game in franchise history

The Bismarck Larks had their final day of practice before the franchise’s first game ever at Municipal Ballpark on May 29.

Currently, the Larks have 26 of their 30 roster sports filled. Bismarck is still waiting the arrival of some players as they complete their collegiate baseball seasons.

The team completed their third practice in three days. However, the first two were without field manager Sean Repay, who was at Northwoods League-mandated conference for managers in Wisconsin.

“I spent a lot of time assembling this roster,” Sean Repay said. “I’m excited to finally get to it. Tomorrow is the big day. I know the guys are really excited. I’ve been waiting for this one for a couple of months now.”

The Larks open the season on May 30 against the Eau Claire Express at Municipal Ballpark with the first scheduled for 7:35 p.m.
