With trees lining the Roosevelt park zoo, it’s left their staff with quite the clean-up. Now that fall is here, those leaves now coat the ground instead of the branches.
The zoo reached out to the public for help preparing the zoo for winter with a fall clean-up. Volunteers braved the wind, teaming up to rake the leaves into piles and gather them into trash cans
The Zoo had hosted a Spring clean-up many times in the past, but this was only the second year they’ve asked for volunteers in the Fall.
