The Bismarck Governors returned home after a six-day road trip.
Bismarck played one game in Pierre, S.D. and five games in Omaha, Neb..
The five games in Omaha were a part of the The Locker Room Tournament.
For the tournament, the Govs went 3-2, winning their last three games.
Coach Mike Skytland said he learned that his pitching staff was deeper than he originally thought.
“Now we’re starting to see that we do have a pretty deep staff,” head coach Mike Skytland said. “We’ve been getting good starts. And then also some guys come in relief and get the job done, too. So especially in nine-inning games that can be really important, and we’ve got a few of those coming up.”
Bismarck returns to action on June 26 against the Minot Vistas.
