Technology trouble takes time to get through.
Sometimes a tutor can help.
Minot Public Library has a host of technology education, including tech-tutors.
The free technology assistance offers one-on-one computer help.
The tutors help with anything from basic settings to eBooks and other resources all the way to navigating genealogy links.
Mary Ann Schimke attended a tutor event at the Parker Senior Center.
She calls the tutors far more helpful than googling about each of her devices.
(Mary Ann Schimke, Minot) “I asked on here, ‘how do I do, whatever, on my laptop?’ Then I’ll go on my laptop and say, ‘how do I do this on my iPad?’ These guys are a lot more helpful than trying to do that.”
The library in Minot will also be hosting a ‘Tech Talk’ on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The topic will be focused around what to look for in your holiday tech purchases.
