Due to low levels in the waters towers, the City of Lincoln is asking residents to water lawns every other day.

They ask residents North of Lincoln Road to water on even days.

Those South of Lincoln Road are asked to water on odd days.

They also ask that no one waters on the weekends

According to their Facebook page, the number of people watering their lawns has lowered the reservoir in the water towers significantly.

They say, limiting watering to every other day will help increase and maintain safe water levels in their towers.

Watering gardens daily, however, is approved.
