Local Business Hold Fundraiser for Families of Quadruple Homicide Victims

News

Businesses in the community are stepping up to help families of the victims.

Texas Roadhouse in Bismarck is holding two fundraising events next week, with a portion of the proceeds going to the RJR victims’ families. On April 11th and 14th, if you mention Texas Roadhouse’s Facebook post, or this news story, 15 percent of your total bill will be donated. We spoke with the manager, about why they felt compelled to give back.

Steven Klamm; General Managing Partner: “A lot of us, it hits close to home in a community like this. I rent through RJR, I know a lot of my employees do. We just want to give back in any way shape or form we can.”

The manager tells us they normally donate 10 percent, but with this hitting so close to home, they’ve upped it to 15. They hope to donate anywhere between 2 and 4 thousand dollars.

The children of William and Lois Cobb set up a gofundme account to cover the costs of the memorial service and travel expenses. The current amount raised is $8,300.
