North Dakota has one of the highest rates in the country, when it comes to employing people with disabilities.

Two employers in Western North Dakota were recognized for supporting an inclusive workforce.
Pro IT and Goodwill Store in Minot received the 2018 North Dakota state DVR employer of the year award.
The award comes from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation under the states Department of Human Services.
We spoke to Goodwill store in Minot about the recognition.

“We all take just great pride in that when we see someone move on and is empowered and has that ability to work on their own,” said regional sales manager Steve Carbno.

Other employers like Cashwise, Dollar Tree and Quality Inn and Suites received an honorable mention.
