Local high school singer invited to perform at Carnegie Hall

News

Over 18,000 high school students from around the world auditioned to be in the 2019 Honors Performance Series…

Only 150 were selected to go to Carnegie Hall and one performer is from right here, in North Dakota.
Kamryn Morrison has been singing for as long as she can remember.
She was invited to audition after making it into the All States Mixed Choir late last year.
Morrison says she recently received the music and she’s been hard at work preparing for the International Honors Women’s Choir.

Kamryn Morrison, Soprano 1 in International Women’s Honors Choir:”I’m also really excited to meet other people from different countries and see -you know- how they do things. You know, singing is the same universally but, culturally, I would really like to experience some of that.”

To raise money for her trip to Carnegie Hall in February, she is offering her musical talent for local performances. You can book her by visiting her Facebook Page and sending a message for scheduling.
