Battalion Chief for Minot Fire Department retires after 29 years

For the past 29 years, Battalion Chief Gary Rasmussen worked as a firefighter for the City of Minot.

Wednesday was his last 24 hour shift, and now to enjoy retirement.

“…we’re all happy to have spent time with him and heard his stories, but no one wants to see him go,” a Facebook post from the Minot Fire Department said, “Here’s to a happy and safe retirement, you’ve earned it!”
