Man injured in Williams County dirt bike accident

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 1:33 p.m. on Sunday May 16, 2021 Brendon Cunningham, a 22-year-old male from Williston,ND was riding roadside in the northbound ditch on his 2015 Honda CRF450 near Highway 2 mm27.

Cunningham drove over a hill crest at high speeds causing him to go airborne. Cunningham purposely separated from his dirt bike while airborne.

He sustained injuries from the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Williams County and EMS were on scene.

According to North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 22-year-old man was injured in a dirt bike accident in Williams County Sunday afternoon.

It happened near Highway 2 a mile north of Williston when he drove over a hill crest and went airborne. The driver was injured from the crash and taken to a nearby hospital.

North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
