Ongoing rain pushes Papa’s Pumpkin Patch opening to Sept. 10

Local News

Papa’s Pumpkin Patch was set to open over the weekend, but the weather drenched its plans.

Then, in a recent Facebook post, they said they would open Monday but the rain persisted and the opening was again postponed.

Papa is now looking at Tuesday to open the patch — the forecast for tomorrow is more promising with temperatures in the 60s and partly sunny.

Let’s cross our fingers and hope for the best so we can get a jumpstart on fall and snatch up all the pumpkins at the patch.
