The North Dakota State Penitentiary is no longer locked down.
According to Michelle Linster with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the prison entered lockdown around noon on Tuesday.
“The facility went into lockdown to search for contraband,” Linster said in a statement to KX News.
Linster says the lockdown ended this morning.
