BISMARCK, N.D. (KXNET) — To say a lot of snow has fallen in the last 24 hours is almost an understatement.

With more on how one organization made to help, is withstanding all the white stuff.

Staying inside your home is essential to surviving a blizzard.

But what about those who don’t have a home?

This is especially hard in places, like Bismarck, where we are seeing a homelessness issue.

KX spoke with Jenna Gullo the Executive Director of United Way, she shared the options those in the Bismarck area have, and what they need.

Gullo also shared the difference between low-barrier and high-barrier homeless shelters.

She says the shelter is always in need and would love to be able to re-open for 24-hour assistance.
