Man Charged in Rash of Thefts in Emmons County

Emmons County Authorities think they have the man responsible for a rash of burglaries.
The first reported case was in September of last year, but there have been many more since.
Authorities have arrested and charged 34-year-old Brent Ohlhauser of Linton, with 36 various charges.
They range from criminal mischief to burglary to possession charges, many of them felonies.
Authorities say Ohlhauser was caught driving with large items in the back of his truck.
Items that a rural resident had just reported stolen.
Court documents say Ohlhauser has admitted to 14 burglaries.
But, after a search of his property, items found connected Ohlhauser to others in the area.
The list of items stolen is extensive.
Authorities believe guns, hunting equipment, and power tools were the main targets.
But authorities have recovered an air conditioning unit, pictures, furniture, even a toilet.
Law Enforcement values the stolen property at a minimum of 50 thousand dollars.
