Man dies at hospital after found with stab wound, two arrested, police say

(WDAY) FARGO — A man is dead and two people are in custody after an incident at a Fargo hotel early Saturday morning.

According to the Fargo Police Department, they were called out to the AmericInn Hotel on 23rd Ave. at 2:33 a.m. for a disturbance.

Police were told there was a man walking the hallways with a firearm.

When police arrived they found a man lying in the hallway with what looked like a stab wound to his lower torso.

He was taken to a local emergency room but later died from his injuries.

Fargo police detained and arrested two males in connection with the incident.

Alan J. Bear, 21, of Cooperstown was arrested for murder.

Shawn. A. Bear, 24, was arrested on two unrelated warrants.

The incident is still under investigation and an autopsy has been ordered.

More information is expected early next week.
