The musical will continue it’s famous themes that make the show special, but if you attend this year’s show you’ll notice something different…
A new theme that pays tribute to hometown heroes.
You’ll just have to come to the show to figure out exactly what it is.
But, what we can tell you is, the show will feature six North Dakota natives.
One of them is Bismarck’s Taylor Leet.
Leet grew up watching the muscial and it’s going to be a dream come true once she graces the stage.
Taylor Leet, first year cast member “I knew someday it will be fun doing this, never knowing it would happen so finally being on this stage is amazing.”
Another native: Dickinson’s Damon Fichter.
Damon Fichter, four year cast member, Dickinson “I don’t get as nervous as I use to. After performing 100 days in a row. There years in a row. It’s kind of on the back of my hand now. It’s much more comfortable.”
The musical’s 50th anniversary of the musical was two years ago. That year the show set the record for attendance. Last year, was the second most attended show in its history. This year the cast will look to keep up the momentum and deliver an awesome show.
And maybe just maybe break another record.
The show starts tomorrow.
