Menards and United Way give back to community

Menards and the United Way of Dickinson are teaming up to fight hunger.

The two are holding their 3rd Annual Food Drive in Dickinson, and people interested in supporting the effort can drop off canned and boxed goods at Menards.

Last year they received two full storage bins of donations, and this year they expect to double it.

The food will be given to local non-profits in the area: Domestic Violence & Rape Crisis Center, Sunrise Youth Bureau, House of Manna, and Amen Food Pantry.

Any pet food received will be given to Oreo’s Animal Rescue.

“We have had someone donate nearly a whole cart full of items, and one of our team members donated almost two full baskets,” said Austen Rife, Menards General Manager.

Donations will be accepted until the end of March.
