Minot police are concerned about a spike in overdose calls lately and warned the public Thursday about Fentanyl dangers.
Police have responded to multiple calls the past couple days (2 overdose calls Thursday alone).
Just coming into contact with the deadly drug, even in very small amounts, can result in overdose death.
Police said there’s an increased number of heroin users in the community, who are cautioned that heroin they purchase may contain Fenanyl.
Police advise if you see someone unconscious and drug use is suspected, get medical assistance immediately.
