Minot Park Board seeks public input

The Minot Park District is working hard on deciding what recreation will look like in Minot in the next five years.

But they say they can’t do it without your opinion.

Some proposed ideas are to build a new park in East Minot and a cross country trail behind the Maysa Arena.

They are accepting public comments Thursday, at the Minot Auditorium in room 201 at 6:30 p.m.

If you can’t make the public input meeting, there are other ways you can get your suggestion in.

“We’re also going to have a survey online that people can access through our website they’ll be able to access that starting today and for the next two or three weeks we’ll have that online. So get on our website they can fill out the survey and share that way– they can send us emails they can call us. Multiple different ways if they want to share their input we’re gonna have available,” said director Ron Merritt.
