(Becky Farr, KX News) Becky Heringer is an Evidence and Property Technician at the Minot Police Department.
She has also been recognized as 2016’s most outstanding employee.
(Kevyn Haugan/Records) “She’s always outgoin g, willing to work wherever needed, helpful, and she has a great personality.”
She’s going on only her second year with MPD, but her hard working attitude does not go unnoticed.
(Haugan) “We actually noticed it right away, she always came in with a positive attitude.”
Heringer handles body camera and in-car video footage, and any photo evidence.
(Heringer) “I spent a couple months searching for something that I was really, really going to like and something that I’m passionate about, something that’s exciting. And that’s when I found this job.”
She says she has her co workers to thank for her recognition.
(Heringer) “I work really hard, and the people that I work with have taught me. They take the time to explain things and teach and they’re just a really great group of people to work with.”
The 2016 Outstanding Police Officer is Stephen Shoenrock.
Shoenrock has worked with Minot PD for over 10 years, served on the Ward County Narcotics Task Force for five years until he was then promoted to Sergeant and returned to the night shift patrol division.
Schoenrock has also served on the Minot Police Department’s SWAT team for the past nine years.
He is a team leader for the sniper unit.
