Calories don’t count when it’s for a good cause. If you needed an excuse to get a sweet treat, we have good news- It’s miracle treat day!
Once a year, Dairy Queen restaurants across the country donate money from each blizzard sold to the Children’s Miracle Network. In 2017, over 100,000 dollars was raised for Sanford children’s hospital on miracle treat day. We spoke with Sanford’s development officer about what the money goes to and how it helps local children.
Erin Green; Development Officer with Sanford Health Foundation: “With those dollars, we’re able to purchase specialized equipment, provide training, and opportunities for kids from this local area to be treated as they need to be treated.”
The money raised locally, stays local. Sanford in Bismarck and Fargo benefit from the funds raised.
