North Dakota’s first ever Miss America, Cara Mund has just weeks left in her reign.
Today, Mund is speaking out against current Miss America leadership.

Mund sent a letter to former Miss America’s to speak out about what she has been disrespect, passive-aggressive-behavior, belittlement and outright exclusion by the current CEO of Miss America.

Cara Mund often refers to Gretchen Carlson in the letter. Gretchen is the 1989 Miss America, and current Miss America Chair.

Mund says in the letter that “At this point, my integrity-and saying and doing the right thing-means more to me than whatever punishment may await me.”

In her four page letter Mund explains how leadership has threatened her with being fired, and given her three talking points.

She goes on to say “I haven’t felt like Miss America for the last 8 months, and now, they are even taking away my goodbye.”

Cara Mund is a 2012 graduate of Bismarck Century High School, and a graduate ot Brown University.
She is the first ever Miss America from North Dakota.
