Miss North Dakota Teen USA is gearing up for the national pageant, but first, she’s making her rounds across her home state.
Caitlyn Vogel stopped in Minot to raise awareness of her cause and meet the people she is representing. Over the years, she’s worked with many people with diverse needs and has built an “inclusion family.” Vogel says that they inspired her to compete in the state teen pageant for the first time. As a result, she took home the title in November.
Vogel now uses her platform to spread awareness for those with disabilities.
“That’s just kind of my happy place is being with people with diverse needs and just seeing them and interacting with them and just seeing how I’m impacting them as well for children in schools. I love teaching them the value of inclusion because, when I was younger, I didn’t have that opportunity,” says Caitlyn Vogel, Miss ND Teen USA.
She is currently working on the final touches for the second annual Limitless Fashion Show which features models with diverse needs.
