Good Monday morning! After a “quiet” and warm weather pattern, things are definitely changing this week! Today will be the warmest day with highs returning to the 50s with 60s in the southwest. Breezy southwesterly wind will be felt into the overnight with a partly sunny sky all day. Tonight, lows mostly in the 30s with 40s in the east. A partly cloudy sky with a slight chance for a few light rain showers in the north.
Tuesday, a mostly sunny day with highs returning to the lower to mid 50s. Temperatures continue to cool into Wednesday with many upper 40s to lower 50s. Some of the coldest air of the season arrives later this week with highs only in the 30s for most by Thursday and Friday. We also have a storm system that will bring a chance for rain and snow on both Thursday and Friday. Right now, it’s too early to tell how much snow we could get. A lot is riding on the temperature profile and how fast this system will move through. We are continuing to study this storm and will bring you the latest on social media and in our newscasts.
