The latest Forecast from the KX News Dakota Storm Center.

Rain chances may decrease throughout the day in the northern areas, but the extreme western half of the area may still see rain chances, otherwise, mostly to partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be cooler than yesterday ranging in the mid 60s and winds picking up throughout the day, to be gusty at times out of the northeast at 10-20 mph G25 mph. A low pressure system continues to move and build over the western U.S. and will approach North Dakota in the coming days. Temperatures will be cool in the mid 60s with in and out rain showers for the next several days to come. Sunnier skies or better conditions will be in the area starting early next week.

Wednesday, showers likely in the morning hours for the north, but mostly cloudy conditions throughout the area. Highs in the lower to mid 60s and a northeast wind at 10-20 mph and occasionally gusting to 25 mph.

Wednesday night, mostly cloudy skies with winds out of the northeast at 5-15 mph. A slight chance of rain possible. Temperatures to be in the mid to upper 40s overnight.

Thursday, off and on rain chances possible throughout the day with temperatures in the lower 60s for much of the area. Winds out of the northeast then shifting east at 10-20 mph.
 
Thursday night, an east wind at 10-20 mph and gusty at times. Temperatures continue to be on either side of 50 degrees and rain chances near 30% overnight.
 
Friday, rain chances continue as the low pressures system comes closer to North Dakota with cloudy skies. Temperatures continue in the lower 60s and winds out of the east at 5-15 mph.
