Monday’s PM Forecast Update | 5/22

From the KX Storm Center:

Across the state, it is partly to mostly cloudy and breezy. Scattered showers are moving South, across North Dakota & more chances are on the way. Several changes are expected during the next 7 days and the good news is that temps will stay well above freezing. In fact, daytime highs will bounce between the 60s & 70s for many of us between now & Friday. This weekend, gradual warming will bring our temps slightly above average for this time of the year. There will be a few different chances for rain through the mid-week (Late Wednesday into Thursday) & this weekend (Saturday/Sunday). All together, high accumulations are not expected through the 7day Outlook, but some of us will get wet with off/on rain chances across Western & Central, ND.
Also winds will pick up, becoming breezy again tomorrow. It will be windy on Wednesday and stay breezy Thursday/Friday. So, several changes are expected. However, there is no risk for severe weather at this time and temps will stay in a pleasant range & near average for this time of the year.

Tonight, scattered rain will end with some clearing. It will be a little cool with lows in the 40s & a few 30s. North wind 2-12mph G20 and a 40% chance of rain.
Tuesday, expect a few areas of lingering showers. Highs in the 60s with a few 70s and a North/NE wind 10-20mph G30. 20% chance of rain.
