Moorhead, MN (WDAY News) – An early morning home invasion sends one man to the hospital and leaves Moorhead Police looking for three suspects.

Police describe the three suspects as “Somalian, in their late teens to early 20’s”

They say the three broke into a Belsly Boulevard apartment with two tenants inside.

One immediately jumped off his third floor balcony to escape the invaders.

Police aren’t sure if the suspects and tenants knew each other prior to Tuesday morning’s incident, or if that played into the tenant’s decision to jump.

“He made that decision upon them beginning to force entry. The history between these parties is something we want to look into,” said Lt. Tory Jacobson, Moorhead Police Department.

The tenant who jumped was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
